Events: Passing the Torch

Following our walk in Bradley Beach, New Jersey – KOH invites you to join us for a very special event, the Passing of the Torch from Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

WHEN: September 28, 2019 (12 NOON following the walk)
WHERE: Ocean Avenue and 5th Avenue, Bradley Beach, NJ 

Passing of the Torch highlights the hereditary link between ovarian and breast cancer, honors cancer survivors and those at high risk, remembers those who have lost their lives to cancer and recognizes families affected by cancer. This awareness campaign and its related events also educate individuals about hereditary ovarian and breast cancer and provide resources for assessing ovarian cancer risk.

A ceremonial flame is passed from an ovarian cancer survivor to a breast cancer survivor marking the transition from Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
