Local Support Groups

Treatment is critical to fighting ovarian cancer, but support from people who have had similar treatments can help you realize that you are not alone. It can improve your spirit and put you at ease. With local support groups throughout New Jersey, you can meet other survivors and their families to talk about what you are experiencing.

One-on-One Support

If you’re not interested in a support group but would like to talk to someone one-on-one, these organizations may be for you.

Cancer Hope Network
A New Jersey-based non-profit organization, Cancer Hope Network, pairs cancer patients and their families with trained volunteers who have dealt with cancer in their own lives and who understand your needs, fears and questions.

Imerman’s Angels
Imerman’s Angels matches a person touched by cancer (a cancer fighter or survivor) with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer (a Mentor Angel). Cancer caregivers (spouses, parents, children and other family and friends of fighters) also receive one-on-one connections with other caregivers and survivors.
